La excusa de las empresas para no utilizar soluciones "Open Source" es que son de baja calidad o su uso es peligroso.

Realmente, esto no es cierto y las empresas que no se han planteado esta alternativa, están dejando pasar una oportunidad de reducir sus costes de informática ó de invertirlos de mejor forma.

En la actualidad, cualquier puesto de trabajo de oficina y/o servidor de intranet o internet podría estar utilizando exclusivamente software "open source" consiguiendo niveles de usabilidad y eficiencia equivalente y/o superiores al de aplicaciones comerciales.
